Installation questions
Is UTMStack really free?
Yes. The Community edition is open source under AGPL-3.0 and free to run on your own hardware. Enterprise adds AI agents, more compliance frameworks, single sign-on and 24/7 support.
How long does installation take?
Usually 15 to 30 minutes on a server that meets the requirements. The installer sets up every component and prints where to find the admin password.
What happens after installation?
Open the server address over HTTPS and sign in as admin. The generated password is stored in /root/utmstack.yml. Then install agents and connect integrations from the console.
What if I have more than 500 data sources?
Use a larger server, or split sources across several servers and view them together in the federation console (Enterprise). Talk to us and we will help you size it.
Which browsers are supported?
The latest two versions of Chrome (recommended) and Microsoft Edge.
Rather not install it yourself?
Start a hosted instance in minutes, or have our engineers set it up with you.
Need to extend your SOC team?
Our analysts work as an extension of your security team: they cover nights and weekends, take alert overflow and back you up on hard incidents. Book a 30-minute call to plan the coverage you need.
